Straight Talk is honestly the answer.
I had to get on Verizon’s network because there isn’t service available where I live with any other network. I recently was on Virgin Mobile’s plan but service was limited in my area. I checked out the smartphones Verizon had to offer but when it came time for a plan they wanted $100 for me to use a smartphone every month! This was with limited data! They even wanted to charge me $40 just for having the phone.
Straight Talk has a selection of iPhones and android-based phones, and they were offering to put me on Verizon’s network contract-freewithunlimited everything for just $45 a month! Of course I said yes, I slashed Verizon’s phone bill in half and am still able to use their network, all thanks to straight talk. I wasn’t able to keep my current phone since it was programmed to be used on Virgin Mobile’s network, but with their selection of phones (which continues to grow) I was able to find one that I liked (and that does its job well). I currently have been through 3 different Straight Talk phones because I’m always getting their latest Androids.
The customer service is good, too. If you have a problem with your phone they will ship you a brand new one, free of charge. Their support team even coordinates with customers and fans via their Facebook page.
